This is a new test post on VoIP
Gizmo goes web. Om reports that Gizmo Project, the VoIP service by SIPphone, is going to launch a web based version of its service within the end of this year.
The company has now developed a new flash-based version of their service that is very simple to use. The new offering will be launched sometime later this month. Go to the website, plug in the number, and hit call. The call is initiated and that’s it. If you have a pair of headphones (all iPod owners do), just plug them in and have a conversation. You don’t even need to have any Gizmo software installed on your computer. You could make phone calls from Internet Cafe’s if you are traveling around the globe. To be honest, I agree with Phoneboy that there's nothing new here. It's a good move, no doubt (it's the VOW philosophy), but I look forward to something new which can really differentiate it from other similar services available in the market for a couple of years now (Abbeyphone and Broadvox Direct just to mention some).
